It was my pleasure to welcome on legendary pro wrestler Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake to this BTB installment.
Bowks Talking Bouts #115 was comprised of Brutus' upcoming "CWE Struttin and Cuttin" tour through Canada and Brutus' lengthy history with the great white north, whether or not Gorilla Monsoon was the creator of the "struttin and cuttin" catchphrase which is the title of Brutus' recently released memoir, modern wrestling podcasts (Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard, 83 Weeks, etc) referencing Brutus and the influx of new fans that are checking out Beefcake's work (5:12).........
The importance of Greg "The Hammer" Valentine/ Randy Savage to Brutus' career and the iconic night where "Macho Man" and Beefcake tore it up in the main event of a Hoosier Dome show (6:37), Hogan making a case for Beefcake to be his "top star" successor towards the end of the 80's (8:17), leaving WWF after a Wrestlemania match and right after facing Masa Saito in a huge money match in Japan (9:47).......

On this BTB episode (Bowks Talking Bouts #114), I welcomed on recently minted Unified MMA titlist Pat Pytlik right after his big win over Vyron Phillips.
We discussed how Pat gets to train with the best in multiple provinces, the quick adjustments Pat had to make in his last fight against Vyron Phillips, the pride associated with being surrounded by friends/ family after his last win and how he visualized everything that happened (6:15), fighting and coaching throughout the same event during the earlier part of his career (8:54), the benefits of studying the emotions/ mentalities of other fighters backstage as they warm up for their respective fights (10:57), Teddy Ash and Pat's photos with their respective Unified belts/ both are looking to make that UFC jump after their respective W's (13:57), only cutting 4 pounds to fight at Welterweight and 165lbs being Pat's division going forward (15:50), eye balling March as his next tentative fight date and wanting to be a true champion that defends their title (19:32), hating training to rap and being more on the rock side of things (21:02), and more!

It was great to welcome on fellow Canadian MMA media member Joel Griffith (MMA Empire) onto BTB (Bowks Talking Bouts #109).
