I spoke with Jeff Launay, pre-fight, at Motor City Boxing Club's show "Resurrection: A New Beginning" on June 2nd.
Jeff talked about the camaraderie at Motor City Boxing Club, being a De La Hoya/ Heavyweight Boxing fan, and fighting a fellow club member. Jeff also talked about this Boxing endeavor being a bucket list thing, the matchmaking difficulties Launay encountered prior to June 2nd, and all the emotions that encompassed the TKO win Jeff secured.

I caught up with Simon; the guitarist for Nightmarer. I spoke with Simon on May 29th, 2019 post-show at Lee's Palace show in Toronto. The stop came along the Devastation on the Nation tour ft names like Dark Funeral, Belphegor, Incantation, Vale of Pnath, and Hate on the marquee. It also marked the first tour for Nightmarer as they were on the road in support of their debut record Cacophony of Terror

We discussed multiple topics including: -Whether Nightmarer is a Florida or German metal band
-The importance of artist autonomy and having a DIY mindset in the modern age (3:06)

Jesse will be taking on longtime top 135er Josh Hill in match that Canadian fight fans have pined for over the years. The high stakes number one contender bout goes on May 24th at TKO 48 in Gatineau, Quebec.
