Charmaine Tweet is an Invicta FC veteran with a wealth of experience that is now being used to help the next generation of women's MMA fighters.
I spoke with Charmaine Tweet ahead of the Pallas Athena Women's Fighting Championship kickoff show on January 15th in Calgary, Alberta.

Fred Ettish is a veteran of UFC 2 who embarked on an incredible redemptive journey to secure his first MMA win in the late 2000's.
I spoke with Ettish and we touched on several subjects such as: -What a day in the life of Ettish looks like
-When his work began with The Salvation Army
-A student of his showing him a tape on the UFC which began Fred Ettish's MMA journey
-Some of the politics behind karate tournaments Ettish competed in and the excitement with the UFC framework seemingly subverting those politics

-Initially playing a Burt Watson type of role, facilitating fighters getting from place to place until Rorion Gracie found Ettish to see if he could fight minutes later

Andy Souwer is a combat sports legend with championship accolades in K1 Max kickboxing, Shoot Boxing tournaments, and he also has pro boxing as well as pro MMA experience too.
I spoke with Souwer after his retirement from fight sports and we covered several subjects such as: -How Souwer is doing following his decision to hang up the gloves
-His last bout vs Marat Grigorian and being in a tournament the magnitude of the ONE featherweight grand prix
-Being regarded as one of the greatest, if not the greatest Dutch fighter of all time

Butterbean is a decorated Tough Man competitor, a former super heavyweight world boxing champion, and is a pugilistic pop culture icon.
The man known as Eric Esch has also had high-profile efforts as a professional wrestler and as an MMA fighter. We covered several subjects such as:
-Co-workers at a factory thinking Esch would be great in Tough Man competition and how that kicked off Butterbean's combative career

Juntaro Ushiku bested Yutaka Saito at Rizin 31 to capture the Rizin FF featherweight world title. This victory came via doctor stoppage after a cut in the second stanza opened up Saito.
I spoke with Ushiku after that Rizin title win and we touched on several subjects such as: -How he was feeling post-Rizin title win
-How much of a career capstone it was to have the Rizin title as part of the resume
-Appreciating Yutaka Saito's skills and taking advantage of a great opportunity popping up
-If there was any point in that Rizin title win where Ushiku had to overcome a certain level of adversity
-If there's an immediate sense of the damage caused when cutting an opponent to that degree at Rizin 31
