Liberty Music: Raquel Bell

It was great speaking with Raquel Bell for this installment of Liberty Music.

 

 

We discussed the multiplicity to Raquel's music mindset as it pertains to pairing mediums (ie/ adding video to a song, having a video you apply music to, etc)......Whether or not her work as a dancer informs her efforts in music, the sonic change in Raquel's material when she moved between Austin and New York........

 

Thor Harris and the other musicians Raquel's collaborating with as of late, art installations at galleries and the creative process involved with that, incorporating projectors and vibrant colors into her live performance, the weirdest places we've both performed, playing Lebowski Fest and the culture of fandom related to The Dude, creating meditative soundscapes for fans to get introspective to, Raquel's experiences touring Canada, and more!
